Fishing Report In Chesapeake Bay

Day 2 did not disappoint. Made the trek south again and found them right where we left them. Unbelievable showing of fish today. Lost count after 30 or so and left the pods soaking. Had them up to 5 at a time. More lockjaw than I’ve seen in years past for this early in the season but was great to see that many fish steaming north.

That’s it for me for awhile. New job kicks off up in DC next week, so I’ll be a traveling weekend warrior going forward. Was a fun break and glad to cut them off before they make it to the bay, but back to work. Limited dates and short term availability will be open this summer on a weather dependent basis.
